Job Title: Financial Analyst, Audit Response Location: Quantico, Virginia Security Clearance: T1/NACI Introduction: Rivet Operations Company has an opening for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join the DoD's premier Audit Response team in the Quantico, Virginia areaRivet is an exceptional industry partner to the US Marine Corps supporting the DoD's first-ever unmodified audit opinion received in January 2024 with a diverse team of 62+ technical experts at Marine Corps Systems CommandDuties and Responsibilities:--- Support a Financial Audit Response and Remediation Team--- Identify, gather, and package key supporting documentation for submission to an auditor--- Conduct quality assurance reviews and compliance reviews--- Provide financial analysis and reporting--- Conduct internal control and sustainment testing to improve process, training, and strategic change management--- Take detailed notes and provide written summaries after meetings with the external auditor and other stakeholders JOB REQUIRMENTS Education, Experience, Skills:--- Bachelor's Degree (Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field) or equivalent experience--- Three or more years' experience in Department of Defense financial audit or internal controls, USMC experience preferred--- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., conditional formatting, creating pivot tables, data analysis tools, etc.)--- Strong written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to interact efficiently with Military Personnel and Civilians--- Basic computer skills (e.g., the ability to navigate to a webpage, make entries, use a mouse, use Microsoft Office suite of applications, use Adobe Pro, etc.)--- Basic mathematical skills (e.gability to add, subtract, multiply, divide.)--- Typing skills (ability to type 45 words per minute)--- Ability to pay attention to details Physical Requirements:--- Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of timePosition may require typing and reading from a computer screenMust have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient mannerThere is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be requiredMay include lifting to 25 pounds as necessary.--- Rivet Operations Company LLC reserves the right to change or modify job duties and assignments at any timeThe above job description is not all encompassingPositions, functions and qualifications may vary depending on business needs.--- Rivet Operations Company LLC is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against applicants based on race, color, creed, religion, medical condition, legally protected genetic information, national origin, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical condition), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, or Vietnam era, or other eligible veteran status or legally protected characteristics.
