Come for the Job, Stay for the Career The experienced retail manager handles all other duties as assigned and drives the corporation’s retail division’s success, assures customer satisfaction through direct customer contact, manages the retail staff and work schedules, and ensures that the corporation’s core values, mission statement, process, and procedures are carefully followed and updated accordingly, to ensure industry compliance and provide an exceptional customer experience. This person is a self-starter and delivers a well-organized and motivated retail team which drives a profitable retail department and enhances the overall company. Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, twist and bend at the waist, turn, kneel, squat, raise arms above shoulder height, grasp, reach, perform repetitive hand movements. Have vision sufficient to read blueprints, labels, safety information; have hearing in the normal range with or without correction. Must be able to transport self across the facility, ascend and descend stair steps; lift objects up to 50 lbs from floor level to waist height. Our Customer Care Duties Include : *Perform daily clock-in/clock-out *Ensure store staff perform daily clock-in/clock-out *Daily review of showroom floor to ensure cleanliness and shelf frontage *Manage store personnel in daily assignments *Ensure all materials and scheduling are ready for field personnel *Monitor and perform weekly inventory/ordering list for Warehouse Coordinator review *Coordinate and perform quarterly inventory review and adjustment *Process special orders including work order preparation; customer call once item received; work order closed with customer pick-up and payment *Oversee accounts receivable balances *Monthly meeting with Owner for A/R update and collections recommendations *Water testing *Answer phone and strive to have all calls answered or messages returned within 1 hour of receipt *Assist customers with sales recommendations to drive retail sales *Be knowledgeable and ensure all store staff are knowledgeable in promoting various sales events throughout the year *Water Testing *Oversee dispatch software program; Ensure jobs are scheduled and processed correctly *Maintain working knowledge of all in-store chemical brands *Maintain working knowledge of various pool & spa equipment/parts *Assist with weekly inventory/ordering and quarterly inventory review *Assist with an on-line dispatch software program to ensure that jobs are scheduled and processed correctly *Participate in weekly staff meetings View all jobs at this company
