Job Description:
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a
Maintenance Supervisor - 1st Shift to join their team. As a
Maintenance Supervisor - 1st Shift, you will be part of the
Maintenance Department supporting the operational excellence of the
facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills,
attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align
successfully in the organization. Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
- 1st Shift Location: Harrisonburg, VA Pay Range: $45 Shift: First
Shift (8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday) What's the Job? Direct and
manage plant maintenance activities across the entire complex.
Assist with controlling profits, plans, and budgets to ensure
operational efficiency. Implement improvements that promote
success, including reducing mistakes, increasing efficiency, and
enhancing product quality. Provide leadership, development, and
training to maintenance staff to foster a high-performing team.
Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment, making
adjustments or replacements as directed. What's Needed? Minimum of
3 years of experience in maintenance supervision or team leadership
within manufacturing environments. High School diploma or GED
required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in process
improvement, re-engineering, and cost reduction techniques.
Knowledge of manufacturing methods, quality standards, and
inspection requirements. Ability to supervise maintenance employees
effectively and promote a safe working environment. Ability to pass
