Constellation, a leading energy company, is seeking a seasoned Sr Mechanic to join our Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management department. The Sr Mechanic will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the operational integrity of our energy production facilities across various locations in the United States. This position is crucial in ensuring that both our conventional and renewable power generation assets operate at peak efficiency and adhere to the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance. With a focus on continuous improvement and technical excellence, the successful candidate will contribute to Constellation's mission of providing sustainable energy solutions. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on various mechanical systems and equipment associated with power generation facilities. Diagnose mechanical issues, propose repair solutions, and efficiently facilitate corrections to mechanical systems. Collaborate with the engineering team to improve system performances and implement modifications. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Document maintenance procedures and outcomes for compliance and improvement analysis. Mentor and train junior mechanics, promoting a culture of technical expertise and safety. Expert knowledge of mechanical systems used in power generation Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Proficiency in using tools and equipment required for maintenance and repair of heavy machinery Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals Effective communication and leadership skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Professional certification in Mechanical Maintenance or a related field is preferred
