Join Western Power's Grid Transformation team in this newly created
leadership role, where you'll take ownership of our enterprise-wide
Network Reliability Strategy. As the Reliability Performance
Manager, you'll lead high-impact initiatives that enhance network
performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive
customer-focused outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to
influence long-term planning, coordinate cross-functional delivery,
and help shape a more resilient and sustainable energy network for
all Western Australians.
Your Role in Action
- Lead and maintain the Reliability Strategy, influencing
performance across the business.
- Initiate and justify reliability improvement initiatives and
works proposals.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver reliability
outcomes.
- Monitor and analyse network performance, identifying key areas
for improvement.
- Produce clear, engaging reports and presentations for a range
of stakeholders.
- Help develop a fit-for-purpose reliability framework aligned
with regulatory and customer expectations.
- Contribute to corporate reporting, regulatory audits, and
documentation requirements.
- Support long-term network planning and access arrangements with
reliability insights.
- Prepare business cases, planning reports, and documentation for
reliability projects.
- Provide expert input into reliability project scoping,
analysis, and technical planning.
- Support contingency and emergency event planning through
analysis and modelling.
- Deliver timely, accurate planning advice to internal and
external stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional programs like Regional Reliability
Initiative.
- Provide input into project evaluations and approvals.
- Endorse and approve OPPM Project and Benefits Evaluation Model
as necessary.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Qualification in Electrical Engineering or related
discipline.
- Strong leadership, influencing, communication, and
interpersonal skills.
- Extensive understanding of network utility regulation and
project justification requirements.
- Proven track record of managing and leading high-profile
planning teams.
- Understanding of the regulatory framework and its impact on
business decisions.
- Thorough knowledge of Asset Management principles and risk
management.
- In-depth understanding of electrical network components,
operation, and maintenance.
