Job Description Job Description Field Archaeologists – R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc. R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc. has openings for durational field archaeologists. This position will require travel for which single occupancy lodging and per diem reimbursements of $45 per day will be provided. Job Duties and Requirements: Follow direction from Project Management and Operations Personnel to execute archeological field work within a project area and complete documentation of the field efforts undertaken; Qualified candidates must have: Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field; Completed an accredited archaeological field school; At least 6 months of experience in archaeological excavation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work well with others and be a proactive part of a project team; Detailed note taking skills; A valid driver's license This position is a durational appointment , ending upon completion of the project.
