fellowship-trained Endocrinologist to join our well-established
referral-based outpatient practice in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Enjoy a practice with a robust patient volume in thyroid and
diabetes mellitus who has served the community for 17 years.As an
endocrinologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and
treating hormonal imbalances, as well as providing advice and
consultation to patients with endocrine disorders. You will advise
patients on the best options and associated risks, given their

practice for you!Endocrinologist Responsibilities:
- Analyzing, examining, and investigating patients and their
medical histories for signs and symptoms of hormonal
imbalances.
- Advising, ordering, and performing tests and interpreting the
results.
- Discussing diagnoses with patients, explaining treatment
options, and giving advice on medications, lifestyle and dietary
changes, and other preventative measures.
- Carrying out follow-up appointments, monitoring patient
progress, adjusting treatment plans and medications, and updating
patient records.
- Supporting patients with serious or complex endocrine
conditions and their loved ones.
- Conducting research and studies on the endocrine system and its
diseases, disorders, and conditions to develop new treatment
techniques.
- Remaining up to date on current discoveries, developments,
trends, research, and technology.Endocrinologist Requirements:
- Medical Degree: MD or DO.
- Board-certified or eligible in endocrinology.
- Ability to manage Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes patients,
including insulin pumps.
- A thorough understanding of the endocrine system and its
diseases, disorders, and conditions.
- Strong analytical abilities to provide accurate diagnoses.
- Excellent decision-making, interpersonal, and communication
skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and research
skills.
- Proficiency with computers and medical equipment.Position
