As part of our continued growth and commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team.Position Overview:The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of Comfort Keepers, ensuring the highest quality of care for our clients. This leadership role involves managing a team of nurses, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for providing compassionate care to seniors.Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring that all clients receive high-quality, personalized care. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for clients in collaboration with healthcare professionals. Supervise and support the caregiving team, providing ongoing training and professional development. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to maintain the highest standards of care. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care. Act as a liaison between clients, families, and healthcare providers to address concerns and improve care outcomes. Stay current with the latest healthcare trends and best practices to continuously improve our services.Qualifications: Current RN license in Virginia, in good standing. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Masters degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred. Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Experience in senior care or home health care is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
