General Summary of Position Unit Highlights The Assistant
Nursing Director of the Emergency Department plays a pivotal
leadership role in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This
position supports the Nursing Director in managing clinical
operations, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and
patient-centered care. The Assistant Director fosters a culture of
excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement, while upholding
the highest standards of emergency nursing practice. This role
requires advanced clinical expertise, strong leadership skills, and
a deep understanding of emergency care protocols, regulatory
requirements, and evidence-based nursing standards. The Assistant
Director serves as a mentor and resource for nursing staff,
promoting professional development and interdisciplinary

innovations. Qualifications BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited
School of Nursing required. Minimum three years of Emergency Room
experience required. Leadership and management experience strongly
preferred. Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN
required. Specialty certification from a nationally recognized
nursing organization in either a clinical specialty or Nursing
Administration preferred. This position has a hiring range of
$CUSTOM.SALARY.MIN - $CUSTOM.SALARY.MAX
