Veterinarian to/npartner with our team and lead our practice!

Hill Veterinary Clinic has been dedicated to serving the pets/nand
families of the Manassas community. Our mission is to
provide/noutstanding medical and surgical care to our patients and
excellent client/nexperience to their families. We are an AAHA
accredited three/ndoctor, small animal veterinary hospital that
also accommodates daytime/nemergencies. We are looking for a
Managing Doctor who looks forward to taking/non challenging cases,
mentoring associates, and collaborating with the veterinary/nteam.
The Medical Director is responsible for providing medical
leadership for/nthe hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and
assuring regulatory/ncompliance relating to the practice of
veterinary medicine. Our new Veterinarian will have the support of
two skilled,/nlicensed, and experienced technicians to assist with
dentistry! Services Offered /n - General/n practice care /n -

work,/nlife, and family balance. Our practice is closed on Sundays,
and our DVMs/ndo not have on-call and no after-hour emergency care
as cases are referred to a/nlocal ER. Our practice closes by 6pm
Monday-Thursday, 3pm on Fridays and 2pm on/nSaturdays. We
prioritize having consistent schedules with our DVMs while

Responsibilities /n - Oversees/n surgical and medical cases for all
doctors while ensuring positive/n outcomes, accurate estimates, and
client communication/education /n - Responsible for/n the financial
performance of the hospital including revenue and hospital/n
contribution growth as well as managing all hospital expenses /n -
Sees wellness/n and sick appointments, performs physical
examinations, and conducts/n diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental
procedures /n - Monitors DVM/n performance, production, and assures
current licensure of all DVMs /n - Educated on new/n medical
information and changes in veterinary medicine /n - Trains all/n
medical staff, including the mentoring of new graduates /n -
Maintains/n client/patient medical/surgical records/logs /n -
Increase/n hospital's community involvement through partnering with
community leaders/n and engaging with local support groups to
support pet care needs. /n - Participates in/n recruiting and
interviewing DVMs and general staff members /n - Maintains and/n
improves medical standards, quality of care, hospital compliance,
and AAHA/n accreditation /n - The Managing/n Veterinarian partners
with the Hospital Manager in the development and/n delivery of
staff training programs, employee hiring/termination,/n resolving
staff concerns, driving community involvement, participating in/n
technician appraisal, and counseling sessions, and promoting growth
and/n innovation of the practice. The MDVM also prepares an annual
planning/n matrix, operating budget, and capital budget with
support from the/n hospital team and Divisional Leadership. /n
Qualifications - Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or
Veterinarian Medicine/nDoctors (VMD) - License to practice medicine
in Virginia or the ability to acquire one - DEA License -
Eagerness/willingness to for surgery and dentistry preferred
*Relocation benefits are/noffered at NVA GP’s discretion and are

Relocation benefits are/nnot available for local moves (e.g.,
