Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – MS/Tele Facility: University of Maryland Saint Joseph Medical Center Location: 7601 Osler Dr, Towson, MD 21204 Start Date: January 26, 2026 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights – 3×12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Schedule: Every Other Weekend Float Required: Yes – within MS/Tele specialty and lower acuity units as needed Block Schedule: Not Available Position Overview The Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit at University of Maryland Saint Joseph Medical Center provides comprehensive care to adult, geriatric, and select adolescent patients. The unit manages a wide range of medical and post-surgical patients, including complex orthopedic, neurological, and general surgical cases. Nurses are expected to have strong telemetry skills, solid clinical judgment, and the ability to manage a patient ratio of up to 1:5. The facility utilizes Epic for documentation and emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered care.
