be considered. A registered nurse with specialized experience in
cardiac telemetry and stepdown care is needed for a 13-week
contract assignment in Manassas, VA. This role focuses on managing
patients recovering from cardiac surgery in a cardiovascular
stepdown unit, specifically overseeing chest tubes and dysrhythmia
cases. The position requires a professional who is comfortable
working in a fast-paced environment and has a strong cardiovascular
skill set. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to
post-cardiac surgery patients transitioning from ICU Monitor and
manage cardiac telemetry, including patients with chest tubes and
dysrhythmia Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and
implement patient care plans Maintain accurate and timely
documentation of patient status and treatments using EPIC
Electronic Health Records Ensure compliance with unit protocols and
safety standards Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active
Virginia or Compact RN license at time of application Current BLS
and ACLS certification Minimum of 2 years nursing experience with
strong focus in cardiac telemetry/stepdown care Proven experience
managing chest tubes and cardiac dysrhythmia patients Familiarity
with cardiovascular surgery stepdown unit protocols and telemetry
monitoring EPIC training or willingness to complete required EPIC
clinical documentation classes (based on prior EPIC experience)
Schedule and Location: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM to
7:00 PM), dayshift Every other weekend required Assignment begins
as soon as possible, with exact start date depending on EPIC
