Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced
Interventional Radiology Technologist with strong neuro and EPIC
EMR skills for a busy Angio department. /n /n Responsibilities/n -
Work in a high-volume angiography and special procedures unit
handling 10-15 cases per day - Patient population ranges from
pediatric to geriatric - Primary responsibilities include scrubbing
and imaging all cases, including neuro-interventional procedures -
May assist with CT, Ultrasound, and Diagnostic procedures as needed
- Uses Philips monitors and LifePak code cart defibrillator - Day
shifts available in 8 or 10-hour blocks, Monday through Friday -
Weekday call required and one 24-hour weekend call (Saturday and
Sunday) - Experience with EPIC EMR required - Must be flexible and
adaptable to the busy and varied caseload of the unit - Responsible
for all aspects of procedure preparation, imaging, and
documentation as per policy - Administers contrast with a power
injector and adheres to all radiation safety protocols - EKG exam
required on the first day, with two allowed attempts and study
materials provided - Educates and monitors students and other
healthcare providers as necessary - Scrub attire expected per
hospital policy - Not a peripheral vascular-focused position;
requires experience beyond lines and drains /n /n Requirements/n -
Current ARRT certification required - Current BLS required -
Neuro-interventional radiology experience required - Proficiency
with EPIC EMR required - Must pass an EKG exam (study guide
provided), with two attempts allowed - Associate's degree from an
ARRT-accredited institution preferred - Advanced certifications
such as ACLS, R.T.(R)(CV)(ARRT), or R.T.(R)(VI)(ARRT) preferred -
No local candidates within a 50-mile radius - License required if
