Therapist Assistant for a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia —

Provide high-quality physical therapy assistance to patients under
supervision. Participate in ongoing professional development and
training opportunities. Collaborate with physical therapists to
develop and implement treatment plans. Assist in achieving
departmental targets and contribute to team success. Monitor
patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Engage in
regular performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments
and outcomes. Communicate effectively with patients and their
families regarding treatment plans. Adhere to safety and compliance
regulations in all therapy practices. Utilize pipelines to track
patient referrals and potential success. Foster a positive and
motivating environment for patients and team members.
Experience/Qualifications Valid PTA license in Virginia or
eligibility for licensure. Commitment to ongoing professional
development and training. Strong communication skills for effective
patient and family interactions. Proficiency in tracking patient
referrals and outcomes using pipelines. Experience in physical
therapy assistance or related healthcare field preferred.
Understanding of safety and compliance regulations in therapy
practices. Ability to adjust treatment plans based on patient
progress monitoring. Ability to work collaboratively within a
healthcare team environment. Experience with performance
evaluations and self-improvement strategies. Positive attitude and
