Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Elkins, WV Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Nights - 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician Join our esteemed medical team as an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician and play a vital role in delivering exceptional women’s health care across a dynamic hospital environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a Level IV trauma-designated Labor and Delivery department, providing comprehensive labor and delivery coverage in a highly reputable facility. Your expertise will ensure optimal patient outcomes while supporting a dedicated staff, including OR and L&D teams, during 24-hour call shifts. Required Skills: Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology Valid state medical license (IMLC or temporary accepted) DEA certification Minimum of 1 year of obstetrics/gynecology practice experience Proficiency in comprehensive labor and delivery procedures Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage a diverse patient population effectively Nice to Have Skills: Additional certifications such as Fetal Monitoring or Neonatal Resuscitation Experience with EMR systems, specifically Paragon Familiarity with trauma-level hospital environments Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution At least 1 year of recent clinical practice in obstetrics and gynecology in a hospital setting Other Requirements: Must be willing to obtain licensure via IMLC or hold a valid temporary license Capable of working night shifts (19:00 - 07:00) during 24-hour call rotations Ability to travel for licensure or certifications as necessary This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a high-caliber team while enjoying competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing support.
