opportunity is available for a certified Speech-Language
Pathologist holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
to serve in a travel position within a vibrant school setting in
Baltimore, MD. This role offers a unique chance to work in a
picturesque waterfront city known for its marinas and boating
culture, with the added bonus of occasional weekend trips to
Washington, DC, just under two hours away. This full-time,
itinerant position spans the 2025-2026 school year and involves
approximately 37.5 hours weekly. The successful candidate will
provide vital speech and language services across multiple school
locations, supporting students communication needs in a dynamic
educational environment. Responsibilities include: Conducting
thorough assessments of speech, language, voice, and swallowing
abilities using standardized instruments and clinical observations
to develop precise diagnoses. Designing and implementing
evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs, while
continuously monitoring progress and adjusting therapies. Educating
students, families, and staff on communication disorders and
intervention strategies. Maintaining meticulous documentation of
evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with
legal and ethical standards. Collaborating with multidisciplinary
teams and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Qualifications for this role encompass: A Masters Degree in
Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Valid
Maryland state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
Current CCC-SLP certification from the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Demonstrated expertise
in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric speech and
language disorders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
proficiency with diagnostic tools and therapy equipment, and
experience working within multidisciplinary teams. This contract
