working with Cynet Health to find a qualified EP Lab RN in
Washington, Washington DC, 20010! Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Electrophysiology Lab Duration: 13
weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years with
telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation License: RN licensure,
pending applications accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have:
Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam
with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal
rhythms. Description: The role involves working in the
Electrophysiology Lab. The shift schedule is 3 days a week for 12
hours each day. The position requires knowledge in telemetry and
dysrhythmia interpretation. Experience with specific equipment such
as Cardio Lab, Medconnect, Zoll, and Life Pak is necessary. The
patient ratio is approximately 1:3. The daily census is estimated
to be 15-20 cases with a range of patient diagnoses, primarily
cardiac arrhythmias. Successful candidates will perform various
procedures, including cardiac ablation and pacemaker insertion.
This position does not require floating to other units or weekend
shifts. Candidates will participate in procedures, assessment, and
management of patients in the Electrophysiology Lab. Compliance
with vaccination requirements is mandatory. Respecting patient care
protocols and interdisciplinary support is essential in this role.
