GQR Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Behavioral Health
for a travel nursing job in Staunton, Virginia. Job Description &
Requirements - Specialty: Behavioral Health - Discipline: RN -
Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 17 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift:
12 hours, evenings, nights - Employment Type: Travel Overview
Facility size: 48 Bed Hospital, 4 units of 12 beds each - Units
1&2: Child & Pre-Adolescent Programs (Age up to 14 years) -
Units 3&4: Adolescent Programs (Ages 13-17 years) Scrub Color
Requirement: - CNA/DSA: grey (light or dark) - LPN/RN: Any color -
Street clothes, sweatshirts, long finger nails are NOT allowed - If
provider is cold, they are permitted to wear a long-sleeved t-shirt
under their scrub top, or a button or zip up sweater or scrub
jacket with the front open so the scrub top is visible. Absolutely
NO jackets with hoods or hoodies are allowed to be worn on the unit
and no pullover shirts covering their uniform so they are not
easily identified as staff. Case types: depression, bipolar, mood
disorders, drug and alcohol abuse, suicidal patients, autism
spectrum disorder as well Behavioral Health – RN - 17 week contract
- 48 hours (4/12s) - If candidate strongly prefers evening, please
specify desired shift times OT Opportunities: Not guaranteed—based
upon staffing shortages (will be offered if staff or travelers
arrive late to shifts, call outs, etc.) Float Requirements: N/A
Extension Opportunities: Yes Is RTO Accepted? What is the Max:
HOLIDAY RTO IS NOT ACCEPTED - RTO Accepted—will add 1 week at end
of contract if RTO is over 3 days On Call Requirement: N/A Holiday
Requirement/Specifics: NO HOLIDAY RTO ACCEPTED Certs: - AHA BLS
License: Active RN License, VA or compact Experience: - Minimum of
2 Years of Behavioral Health/Psych experience required - Minimum of
2 Years RN experience required - Minimum of 1 Year of Pediatric
Psych experience preferred - MUST have adolescent experience COVID
Vaccine Requirement: exemptions accepted Weekly Untaxed Travelers
Stipend of $1,246 17 week contract 48 hours (4/12s) - Weekly Gross
