Job Description:
MedStar Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist PRN (as
needed) to join our team in the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia region,
providing patient-first healthcare tailored to individual needs.
This role will focus on delivering high-quality rehabilitative care
in a supportive and innovative environment. You will work with
diverse patient populations to facilitate health and rehabilitation
goals. Assess patient health and physical condition through
examinations to diagnose and develop tailored treatment plans.
Implement therapeutic interventions for injuries and ailments,
focusing on patient-centred recovery and outcomes. Collaborate with
other healthcare professionals to optimize rehabilitation
approaches and patient care integration. Provide patient and family
education on therapies and interventions. Monitor and document
patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary. Strong
analytical skills to assess patient conditions and validate
treatment plans. Proficient in using physical therapy tools and
equipment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle a flexible schedule. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state
licensure as a Physical Therapist. CPR certified preferred.
Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is a
plus.
