MedStar Health is seeking a dedicated Sr MRI Technologist to expand our dynamic team in the healthcare & medical services sector. This role requires a detail-oriented professional skilled in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures and patient care. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising MRI procedures, managing patient schedules, maintaining MRI equipment, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostics while adhering to safety standards. Commitment to compassionate care and technical expertise is essential in providing our patients with the best treatment and support in their health journeys. Supervise and perform MRI procedures ensuring patient safety and compliance with guidelines. Manage patient schedules and prepare patients for MRI scans, explaining procedures and addressing concerns. Maintain MRI equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure operational standards. Collaborate with physicians to plan appropriate imaging based on patient needs. Train and mentor junior staff and technologists on new techniques and best practices. Maintain records of imaging procedures, results, and operational logs. Implement quality control measures to improve MRI services.
