Doctor of Medicine | Cardiology - Interventional Location: Hanover, PA Employer: Wellhart, LLC Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 9 Days Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to join our client's team in Pennsylvania for a 9-day assignment starting Jun 1, 2026. This role involves comprehensive cathlab coverage, including STEMIs, cardiac caths, and interventions, with a preference for providers skilled in urgent Acute Pulmonary Emboli procedures. The schedule includes Monday-Friday 7a-5p with weeknight call (5p-7a or 6p-6a) and a 1:4 weekend call rotation (Sat-Sun 7a-7a), focusing on consults without rounding or admissions. Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive cathlab coverage for the facility. Manage STEMIs, cardiac caths, and various interventional procedures. Perform urgent Acute Pulmonary Emboli procedures (preferred). Handle consult-only patient interactions; cardiology is not the admitting physician. Participate in Monday-Friday 7a-5p shifts. Provide weeknight call coverage from 5p-7a (or 6p-6a). Engage in 1:4 weekend call coverage on Saturdays and Sundays from 7a-7a, with no rounding required. Respond to STEMI notifications via phone and pager, confirming receipt with the switchboard. Manage approximately 0-4 call-ins throughout a weekend; staff averages 10 call-ins per month.
