Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiac Catheterization Lab Location: Richmond, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,719 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Richmond, Virginia, 23225! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: Required Must-Have: Experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab Description: The unit has three cardiac catheterization labs. There are typically 10-11 staff members working each day in the cardiac catheterization lab. The staff consists of a mix of registered nurses and cardiovascular technologists during the day shift. The patient ratio is three staff members per room. The lab is equipped with GE X-ray and MacLab technology. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Candidates who are recruited must have experience working in a high-volume laboratory handling complex cases. Typical procedures performed include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations. Other procedures include the use of Impella and balloon pumps, as well as peripheral cases and complex PCIs. Occasional device placements are also performed in the lab. The ideal candidate will possess an easy-going, kind, and friendly demeanor. They must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment. Professional conduct is expected, and attendance is vital. Candidates must be able to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call-back.
