A week in the life of anAEGIS SPY Radar Trainer: * Provide dynamic teaching, training and assessment up to the officer level. * Review and analyze U.S. Navy Aegis Combat System Engineering Capabilities and Limitations and U.S. Navy Operational and Tactical doctrine * Integrate and conceptualizes the execution of Doctrine . * Conduct dynamic assessment of the sailors' abilities. * Observe and assess contemporaries during Practice and Certification Teaches per requirements NAVEDTRA 130 series. * Prepare, review, and customize curriculum lesson plans and instructor guide. * Support Course Reviews and Curriculum Updates. * Conduct training gap analysis. * Document the training conducted with specifics of the individual areas / watch station. * Generate formal assessment of measure of success. * Establishe and review course content and objectives. * Conduct training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities. Job Requirements * High School Diploma * Secret Clearance * Travel may be required up to 10% of time including ship embarkment for 5-10 days. At least six (6) years of experience: * As either a maintenance technician supervisor or operator supervisor with responsibility for teaching the applicable system or function task At least one (1) year of experience: * As an instructor in a Navy Training Environment Founded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States.
