each other. POSITION TITLE Full Stack Java Developer *This role is
not eligible for employment visa sponsorship * YOUR ROLE As an IT
team member, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, implementing,
and managing technology solutions that are the foundation of the
world class customer service that our customers expect and deserve
– now and in the future. What you will be doing Translate business
requirements into technical specifications Perform coding for
solutions supporting imaging applications Perform code reviews and
collaborate with peer developers on project work Provide technical
support as needed and develop effective monitoring tools around
Imaging Systems Provide system support and maintenance for the
existing systems in the application development imaging area Bring
new ideas and past learnings to Genworth’s imaging applications
Maintain an effective approach on problem solving, multi-tasking,
coordinating and scheduling in accordance with the Project Plan to
ensure visibility and predictability Identify and interact with
Business Relationship Management and Project Management Office to
ensure their needs are being met by the project design What you
bring Bachelor's degree or equivalent program in relevant
discipline 2 years of experience working in a front end and
back-end capacity utilizing Java, Springboot, CSS, API’s &
Webservice technologies. 2 years of technical experience with
Object oriented programming languages such as Java and C# 2 years
of technical experience with APIs and web services (SOAP/REST): You
know how to interact with different systems and can grasp concepts
like requests, responses, and data formats (XML, JSON). 2 years of
experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and strong command over
semantic HTML Experience with data manipulation and integration
concepts: You've worked with tools or methods for moving and
transforming data, and you're familiar with the challenges involved
in connecting disparate systems. Eagerness to learn new
technologies: You're excited to dive into CRM platforms like
Salesforce and Dynamics, as well as integration tools like
Informatica, and quickly become proficient. Proven ability to work
across multiple functional teams, in the creation of an application
development and support process Proven experience resolving
escalated technical issues Proven track record with code
management, defect management and project management tools Proven
ability to work collaboratively with all business functions and
build strong business partnerships Proven ability to solve complex
issues Proven track record of strong organizational skills
Familiarity with cloud technology, data management requirements
Nice to have Provides application software development services or
technical support typically in a defined project Develops program
logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in
existing applications Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements
and maintains software applications Analyzes requirements, and
maintains, tests and integrates application components Ensure that
