Job Description:

As the Controls Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) for the US East region, you will oversee the implementation and maintenance of control systems and software that are essential to the operational efficiency and security of AWS cloud services. This role involves leading a team of engineers and IT professionals in the design, set-up, and integration of automation and control systems used across AWS data centers. Your strategic influence will be key in enhancing the reliability and resilience of AWSs cloud infrastructure, directly impacting the delivery of solutions to millions of our users. Design and implement control strategies and systems for data center operations. Monitor and analyze system performance and make recommendations for improvements. Ensure all control systems operate in compliance with local and international standards. Lead regional projects for new system installations and upgrades. Cooperate with global teams to align strategies and enhance infrastructure. Manage and develop a team of control engineers and technicians. Prepare reports and budget planning for control-related expenditures. Strong knowledge of automation and control systems, particularly in a data center environment. Proficiency in systems engineering software tools. Excellent project management and leadership abilities. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues. Strong analytical and organizational skills.
