PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) Specialist LOCATION Annapolis Junction, MD 20701 CLEARANCE TS/SCI Full Poly (Please note this position requires full U.S. Citizenship) KEY SUMMARY We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) Specialist to manage and enhance our organization's certificate and encryption infrastructure. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain PKI systems to ensure secure authentication, data integrity, and encryption across all platforms. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of certificate lifecycle management, cryptographic standards, and PKI best practices. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Design and implement PKI systems Manage the lifecycle of digital certificates Ensure compliance with cryptographic policies and standards Conduct regular audits of PKI infrastructure Respond to incidents involving PKI or certificate-based systems Collaborate with teams to integrate PKI into organizational processes REQUIRED SKILLS Expertise in managing certificate authorities (CAs) and subordinate CAs Knowledge of certificate lifecycle management tools Understanding of cryptographic protocols (e.g., TLS, SSL) Ability to troubleshoot PKI-related issues Experience with public and private key encryption methods Familiarity with secure communication protocols DESIRED SKILLS Experience with cloud-based PKI solutions (e.g., AWS Certificate Manager) Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., FIPS, GDPR) Understanding of quantum-resistant cryptography Strong technical documentation and reporting skills Ability to automate certificate management processes Familiarity with integrating PKI into DevOps pipelines PLUG IN to CYMERTEK - And design your future YOUR FOREVER CAREER STARTS HERE Are you looking for more than just a job?
