experienced and dynamic Partner specializing in Private Equity Law
to join their esteemed Washington, D.C. or NYC office. This firm is

legal industry. Job Summary: The ideal candidate will have a proven
track record of successfully handling complex private equity
transactions, providing strategic legal advice, and building strong
client relationships. As a Partner, you will play a key role in
expanding the firm's Private Equity practice, mentoring junior
attorneys, and contributing to the firm's overall growth and
success. Key Responsibilities: Client Management and Development:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and
potential private equity clients. Serve as the primary point of
contact for clients, providing high-level strategic legal advice.
Identify opportunities to expand the firm's services to existing
clients and attract new clients. Transactional Work: Lead and
manage complex private equity transactions, including acquisitions,
dispositions, leveraged buyouts, and recapitalizations. Oversee due
diligence processes, negotiate and draft transaction documents, and
manage deal closings. Advise clients on structuring and financing
private equity deals, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and
regulations. Practice Development: Contribute to the development
and implementation of the firm's strategic plan for the Private
Equity practice. Collaborate with other practice areas and offices
to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients. Participate in
industry events, conferences, and professional organizations to
enhance the firm's visibility and reputation in the private equity
sector. Leadership and Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship
to junior attorneys and support staff. Foster a collaborative and
inclusive work environment that promotes professional growth and
development. Lead by example in demonstrating the firm's commitment
to excellence, integrity, and client service. Qualifications: Juris
Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the
bar in the jurisdiction of practice. Minimum of 10 years of
experience in private equity law, with a significant portion at a
reputable law firm. Proven track record of successfully managing
and closing complex private equity transactions. Strong client
relationship management skills and a demonstrated ability to
develop new business. Excellent negotiation, drafting, and
communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with
colleagues across practice areas and offices. Commitment to
