Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others.* Provides mentoring to the OR team.* Works collaboratively and has respect for and understanding of other clinical disciplines.* Uses and demonstrates clinical expertise in the assessment of staff learning needs, capabilities, and readiness.* Demonstrates superior knowledge of aseptic and surgical techniques in the role of a surgical technologist.* Supports the OR Service Leader's goals.* Ensures efficient functioning of the specialty service and achievement of optimal patient outcomes.*Surgical Technologist CVOR Requirements:** *Work Schedule:* Full-time (40hrs) Monday - Friday night shift* *Education*: High School diploma or equivalent* *Experience*: 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience in Cardiac surgery* *Certification*:* Basic Life Support from American Heart Association required upon start.* Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA required upon start or* Tech in Surgery - Certified (TS-C) via NCCT required upon start* *License*: Registered in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Surgical Technologist*About Us:*We are Inova, Northern Virginia's leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
