handling equipment (e.g., forklift, shelving, restraints) necessary
to move or store heavy, bulky, or odd-shaped items.--- You will
move heavy materials in close quarters (e.g., narrow aisles or
ramps, in and out of buildings, on and off trucks or other
conveyance).--- You will operate power equipment and small hand
tools to assist with warehousing duties.--- You will safely operate
a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, or other material handling
equipment to gather items for shipmentRequirements Conditions of
Employment--- Must be a US Citizen.--- Must be determined suitable
for federal employment.--- Must participate in the direct deposit
pay program.--- New employees to the Department of the Navy will be

-OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response
(HAZWOPER)
-Basic First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course
Drug Testing Designated Position (TDP): The incumbent in the
position is subject to random drug testsThis position is covered by
the Department of Defense Priority Placement ProgramSeveral
vacancies may be filledA 40 hour work week is typical for this
positionThis position is subject to work an uncommon tour,
including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission
requirementsOvertime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty

Work is performed on hard surfaces daily for extended periods of
time that require standing, stooping, bending, walking, pulling,
pushing, kneeling and working in tiring and sometimes uncomfortable
positionsEmployee frequently lifts and moves items weighing up to
40 pounds unassisted using proper lifting techniquesHeavier items
are moved using fork lifts, material-handling equipment or with
assistance from other employeesWORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed using material handling equipment primarily
inside and outside a warehouse, in hot, cold, drafty or poorly
lighted areasEmployee may be exposed to dust, dirt, grease,
solvents and high noise areas while working in a mechanized work
area, or chemical fumes while working in a hazardous materials
areaEmployee will be required to wear safety shoes and
eyewearAdditional personal protective equipment (PPE) include, but
