Job Description:
OverviewSCCI is currently seeking a detail-oriented Testing
Analyst to join our team! If you enjoy analyzing technical
solutions and collaborating with others, this may be the job for
you. In this position, you will work with users and development
teams to analyze user requirements and document plans for
validating information technology solutions created for major DoD
programs. Our team includes multiple functional area groups who
support engineers, control boards, and configuration specialists by
provisioning desktop tools and constructing custom web
applications, frameworks, and collaboration sites that are designed
to meet the unique requirements of their business processes. This
position is located in Dahlgren, VA.Responsibilities:Collaborate
with users and IT Teams to understand technical requirements,
perform Quality Assurance (QA) checks for process and test data
accuracy, and assist with the resolution of discrepanciesAssist in
the development and maintenance of testing and training processes,
policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with the
objective of successfully integrating with the development teams,
in support of meeting defined milestones and deadlinesCoordinate
application build information with developers and distribute the
information across the test teamsSupport test event planning and
setup for the government acceptance testers. This includes setting
up user test accounts and tracking the resolution of test
findingsCapture meeting highlights/minutes and action
itemsCollaborate with test personnel and software engineers to
engineer AGILE software solutions to emerging government
requirementsCollaborate with users and development teams to
interpret and validate user requirements and understand, test and
document IT solution designsEssential Skills and Experience:Must be
a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret
Security ClearanceA Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree from an
accredited college or university in a scientific, technical,
engineering or mathematical discipline and one (1) year of
experience in developing software or software test plans and test
cases; Five (5) years of professional experience in developing
software can be considered in lieu of degreeOne (1) year experience
in evaluating complex technical products accomplished by multiple
organizations consisting of Contractors, Government, and other
technical specialistsOne (1) year experience in working as members
of technical work groups and integrated product teamsOne (1) year
experience in effectively integrating and communicating complex
technical and programmatic concepts both orally and in writing with
technical experts and management at all levelsDemonstrated
proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and
PowerPointAbility to collect data from different sources and pull
information from reportsAbility to effectively communicate within a
team environment and across organizational levels to include
co-workers, managers, and government customersAbility to work
independentlyPreferred Skills and Experience:Active Secret Security
ClearanceSecurity+ CE, A+, CCNA, or Network+
CertificationExperience with developing test procedures for
information management systems based on the review of functional
requirementsExperience working with teams utilizing the Agile
framework, which conveys success in understanding user requirements
and testing in support of recurring sprint cyclesExperience
utilizing Automated Testing software to develop, test, and execute
Test Cases within an automated frameworkSCCI is committed to
